Infrastructure and Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity Services

Let us assess the risks across user accounts, devices, network and backups together. We identify the priority gaps and move forward with measures you can actually apply.

Operational Need

Do not rely on a single security product

Out-of-date devices, weak account security and uncontrolled access can turn a small incident into an operational outage.

The 1Byte Approach

Account, device and data security

Reviewing user permissions and the need for multi-factor authentication. Assessing endpoint protection and update status. Checking network access, firewall and remote connection controls. Defining responsibilities for backup, event logging and incident response.

Working Model

How does the service process work?

01

Asset discovery

User accounts, devices, servers and internet-facing services are listed.

02

Risk priority

The risks found are ranked by impact and ease of fixing.

03

A control plan

Priority measures and a timeline are turned into a written plan.

04

Application

Multi-factor authentication, updates, endpoint protection and backup checks are put in place.

05

Monitoring and review

Checks are repeated regularly and new risks are added to the plan.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

How does a security review start?

The systems to be reviewed, access permissions and test boundaries are agreed in writing. Checks that could affect production services are planned separately; nothing outside the agreed scope is carried out.

What is the most important security measure for small businesses?

No single measure is enough, but multi-factor authentication on email and admin accounts, up-to-date systems and backups that have been test-restored reduce the most risk.

What should be done against ransomware?

User permissions should be limited, systems kept up to date, and at least one backup copy stored separately where an attacker cannot reach it. Restores should be tested regularly.
